Fourth of July Fireworks in Cecil County

The Fourth of July falls on a Thursday this year, and the celebrations in Cecil County are scheduled for before and after the federal holiday.
North East
The town of North East is hosting a "Salute to Cecil County Vets" on Wednesday, July 3. Gates to the event, which is being held at North East Community Park, will open at 5 p.m. Several ceremonies will take place before the fireworks at dusk; the light show will begin at approximately 9:15 p.m. See the full schedule of events.Chesapeake City
The Independence Day celebration in Chesapeake City will be on Friday, July 5. It kicks off with a parade at 5 p.m. in Pell Gardens (2nd and Bohemia Avenue). The festivities will conclude with a fireworks display on the canal at dusk. In addition to fireworks, Chesapeake City has planned a "Liberty Weekend" filled with other patriotic activities.
