Funeral Scheduled for Kami Ring, 10, of Charlestown

The girl's body was found near her grandparents' house in Port Deposit Monday.

Funeral services for Kami Ring, the 10-year-old whose body was discovered in Port Deposit this week, will be held Monday, June 17.

Ring lived in Charlestown and was staying with people she considered her grandparents in Port Deposit at the time of her disappearance Sunday evening. Police found her body Monday night in a field 60 yards from her relatives' Waibel Road home.

Nobody has been charged in her death, police told The Baltimore Sun Wednesday, though a person of interest is in custody.

Crouch Funeral Home in North East will coordinate the services for Ring.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. on June 17 and and the funeral service will be at noon, according to the Crouch website.

Donations and expressions of sympathy may go to the Boys and Girls Club of Cecil County (101 E. Main St.) in Elkton, MD 21921, with "Kami Ring Memorial Fund" in the memo line.

Crouch Funeral Home is located at 127 South Main St. in North East.
